Masterminded by Director Alma Deng Dhieu, who hails from South Sudan but grew up in Uganda, this cinematic endeavor reveals on the struggles of impoverished families and the exploitation they face at the hands of rich individuals. Director Alma’s journey in filmmaking began in Uganda, where he kickstarted his career before relocating to the United States to further pursue his passion. Despite his international ventures, Alma remains closely connected to his roots, collaborating with top Ugandan filmmakers to bring his vision to life.
