Those of us in the melanin-rich community recognize that genuine progress has seldom been aimed at us, despite our accomplishments. Observing the NFL Draft, I celebrated young Black athletes, their perseverance inspiring across all fields, contrary to misconceptions about diversity efforts. Trump's actions have alienated allies, mismanaged tariffs, and prioritized billionaires, undermining everyday Americans and marginalized groups.
