ECSU Chancellor, staff make recruiting stop in W-S

As part of their Blueprint for Success Recruiting Tour, staff, students, university leaders, and alumni from Elizabeth City State University (ECSU) made a stop in Winston-Salem a few weeks ago. The event hosted by ECSU’s Office of Admissions and Recruitment was designed to introduce prospective students and their families to the Viking culture. During the event held at St. Stephen Missionary Baptist Church, attendees had the opportunity to engage with current faculty and staff, current students, athletic coaches, residence life team members and alumni.
Located in Elizabeth City, ECSU, is one of 12 HBCUs in NC and a member of the University of North Carolina System. Currently ECSU offers 27 bachelor’s degrees, including the only four-year collegiate Aviation Education Program in the state. ECSU is ranked second on Washington Monthly’s Top 200 Bachelor’s Colleges and fifth in the U.S. News and World Reports Top Public Schools.
As a NC Promise institution, tuition at ECSU is currently $500 per semester for in-state students and $2,500 for out-of-state students. This includes both new and returning full-time students, part-time students, transfer students, and students in online programs.
