Emmanuel Storms to Victory: Secures Spot in Carifta 200m Finals

Saint Lucia did not enhance its medal count on the second day of the 52nd Carifta Games; however, Jady Emmanuel continued to impress. The Under-17 girls' 100m champion aims for the 200m title, after clocking an impressive 23.88 seconds—the third Saint Lucian female to break 24 seconds before turning 18. Emmanuel, alongside her relay team, secured seventh place in the 4x100m, preserving the national junior record. Other athletes, including Ryan Simeon, contributed to a new national record in the Under-20 boys' 4x100m.
