The Indianapolis Recorder is showcasing the diversity of Indy’s religious community through a series of stories.& This week’s segment highlights Iglesia Casa de Restauración, a local Christian church founded by Ulises and Madelyn Himely. & Driven by the desire to serve the Spanish-speaking community in Indianapolis, the church gives its members a place to connect to Jesus and build community through sermons, baptisms, communions and more.& Iglesia Casa de Restauración, true to its name, is a house of restoration, a reputation that lead pastor and co-founder Ulises Himely said& is known. & “Our faith community is best known as a church that restores people socially, and spiritually,” said Himely.  A woman performs on stage at Iglesia Casa de Restauración.
