Family reportedly shares what caused DJ Unk’s death

ATLANTA — Family members have reportedly shared the cause of death for DJ Unk, the Atlanta rapper famously known for his hit song “Walk It Out.” According to reporting by TMZ and The Atlanta-Journal Constitution, the outlet spoke with the rapper’s spouse, Sherkita Long-Platt, who revealed DJ Unk died after suffering a heart attack in his sleep. The outlet said she dispelled other claims circulating online about his death.  Fans learned of his passing last week, when Big Oomp Records shared that DJ Unk, whose real name is Anthony Leonard Platt, had died.
