Police Reportedly Call Ky Frost’s Shooting of Rapper T-Hood Self-Defense, DA Review Still Looms

The son of "Love & Hip Hop" personalities Kirk Frost, 55, and Rasheeda Buckner-Frost, 49, may face incarceration as Gwinnett County law enforcement has named Ky Frost, 24, a primary suspect in the deadly shooting of Atlanta rapper Tevin "T-Hood" Hood. Hood, who was dating Ky's sister Kelsie Frost, suffered gunshot wounds on August 8 during a confrontation believed to stem from allegations of abuse against Kelsie.The L.A. Times noted that Ky was questioned shortly after police arrived at the scene responding to a domestic dispute. Tragically, Hood was found with multiple gunshot wounds and later died in the hospital.Authorities suggested that Hood instigated the altercation, which Ky responded to in self-defense. The District Attorney’s Office may still pursue charges, with no formal accusations made so far.
