Historically Black Fayetteville State University in North Carolina has recently signed a guaranteed transfer agreement with Wake Technical Community College. The agreement is the latest addition to the historically Black university’s Bronco Benefit program, which has plans to establish transfer agreements with 15 other community colleges.
The new partnership will provide qualified students from Wake Technical Community College with guaranteed admission to Fayetteville State University upon completion of their associate’s degree. Additionally, students from Wake Technical Community College with at least a 3.0 grade point average will be eligible to apply for the Bronco Bridge scholarship upon enrolling at Fayetteville State University.
“The addition of Wake Tech in the Bronco Benefit program tremendously elevates student’s access to completing a bachelor’s degree program by making transferring to FSU seamless and appealing,” said Darrell T. Allison, chancellor of Fayetteville State University. “We want students to continue their education with us and receive a high-quality, affordable education while minimizing the time it takes them to graduate.”
