The parents of a young boy who tragically took his own life two years ago are pursuing legal action against a Florida school board. They claim that the board failed to intervene against their son’s fifth-grade teacher, Donna Marie White, who allegedly subjected him to relentless bullying and incited classmates to join in.
As detailed in the wrongful death lawsuit, Tyka and Louis Johnson Jr. allege that White persistently humiliated their son, Louis Johnson III, while he was at Legacy Elementary School in Ocala. Despite their efforts to alert school officials, the administration reportedly took no action. Sadly, their son succumbed to overwhelming distress in April 2023. The Johnsons are seeking a minimum of $75,000 in damages.
