On April 21, 2025, the Indianapolis Neighborhood Housing Partnership (INHP), in partnership with the City of Southport and the Indiana Housing and Community Development Authority (IHCDA), celebrated the groundbreaking of a 1,260-square-foot, three-bedroom, two-bathroom affordable home at 10 Church St. This marks INHP’s inaugural housing project in Southport. Supported by IHCDA funding from the HOME Investment Partnerships Program, the $300,000 home will be accessible to families earning up to 80% of the area median income, reaffirming INHP’s commitment to expanding affordable housing.
