San Francisco, CA — SF Black Wall Street (SFBWS), an influential advocate for Black economic empowerment and cultural heritage in San Francisco, is initiating a public recovery and fundraising campaign due to a catastrophic fire on June 11 that severely impacted its newly opened Nineteen-21 Lounge. This campaign will be officially launched at the Bayview Night Market: The Black Outside Ball on Friday, June 27, located at Third & Yosemite.WHAT: Official Launch of SFBWS Recovery Campaign for Nineteen-21 Lounge at the Black Outside Ball & Night Market WHO: Mayor Daniel Lurie, Supervisor Shamann Walton, and SFBWS Leaders Tinisch Hollins, Gwen Brown, and Kenya Boddie-Austin WHEN: Friday, June 27, 5 to 9 PM, with a program at 6 PM WHERE: Third Street & Yosemite Ave, San Francisco Entertainment will feature performances by B-Legit, Afterthought & The Top Chefs, Keke Wyatt, alongside a classic car show and various food and retail vendors. Established in June 2020, SFBWS strives to uplift Black ownership and culture, especially in the wake of COVID-19 impacts. Despite challenges, they are dedicated to the mission of fostering resilience and economic empowerment within the community.
