Kamala Harris, the former vice president and a one-time contender for the presidency, is set to bring her international book tour to Birmingham this autumn. She will grace the Alabama Theatre on October 17 to promote her forthcoming memoir, titled “107 Days.” Having served under President Joe Biden, Harris stepped into the Democratic candidate role when Biden withdrew from the 2024 race. In a recent social media announcement, she unveiled her tour plans through a captivating video showcasing moments from her campaign journey. This tour will span 15 cities, beginning in New York and including destinations like London and Toronto, alongside Birmingham, Durham, and Portland. Tickets will become available for purchase on Friday at 10 a.m. local time. Harris describes “107 Days” as an honest reflection of her brief presidential campaign, promising insights and experiences from her time on the trail. The memoir, comprising over 300 pages, will be published by Simon & Schuster on September 23. She also indicated she would not pursue the California governorship in 2026, which has intensified speculation about a potential 2028 presidential run. The tour will also include stops in Philadelphia, Los Angeles, Houston, San Francisco, Atlanta, Washington, Chicago, Nashville, and Miami.
