Midwest Food Bank (MFB), in partnership with Kroger and Corteva, is hosting a free event from 2-6 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 24 at Monument Circle. The event will help provide $2 million in food to Hoosiers in need.&
The event will have entertainment from local celebrities, dance teams and choirs. From 4:30-6 p.m. Brett Wiscons will host a concert. As a performer, he has shared a stage with Jon Bon Jovi, Jimmy Buffett, Darius Rucker and more.& &
Additionally, the event will have local produce vendors, crafts and food trucks. &
Attendees can stop by the Midwest information table for a free reusable shopping bag. A $100 donation to the Midwest Food Bank will enter participants in a drawing for a Colts football signed by Anthony Richardson, Ryan Kelly, Jonathon Taylor, Quentin Nelson and more.&
MFB is the only food bank serving the entire state and provides $74 million in food per year to those in need. Founded in 2003, MFB has 10 domestic locations serving 23 states and two international locations in East Africa and Haiti.
