"Funding Challenges Endanger the Future of Diabetes Programs"

Diabetes significantly impacts the Black community, with over 10% affected in Chicago's vulnerable areas. The ECHO-Chicago Complex Diabetes program, which enhances care access and management, faces funding threats. Since 2020, it has trained providers across 1430 care sites, improving treatment outcomes and addressing social health determinants.
