The Prime Minister's Office has announced that the National Awards Committee is currently accepting nominations for the esteemed national honors of Saint Lucia. These awards honor individuals, both local and abroad, who have made significant contributions to nation-building.
Community members are encouraged to nominate “unsung heroes” from their neighborhoods and the diaspora, highlighting those who exemplify “outstanding character, altruism, and service deserving of national recognition.”
Nomination forms are available online at governorgeneral.gov.lc/awards or can be collected from libraries, post offices, sub-post offices, constituency councils, and the Prime Minister's Office at the Greaham Louisy Administrative Building, The Waterfront, Castries.
Forms must be returned by December 20, 2025, either via email to emam.louis@govt.lc or in a sealed envelope directed to the Secretary, National Awards Committee, C/O Office of the Prime Minister, Greaham Louisy Administrative Building, Waterfront, Castries. Detailed information about the awards, including categories, can be found on the back of the nomination form. Award recipients will be announced at the 2026 Independence Rally, followed by an official presentation by the Governor General at the Investiture Ceremony.
