By Larry Hicks | OBSERVERIt was a legendary touchdown drive that arguably topped any in the history of this legendary football program.Down 28-24 with 2:51 left in the game, the Grant High School Pacers of Del Paso Heights marched 98 yards for the winning score to beat the Rocklin Thunder 30-28 for the Sac-Joaquin Section Division 2 championship at Sacramento City College on Nov. 29. The drive included acrobatic catches, culminating when senior quarterback Luke Alexander connected with sophomore tight end Zo Edwards – his feet inches from the sideline – on a 24-yard completion in the left corner of the end zone.The Grant High School Pacers and coaches celebrate the team’s Sac-Joaquin Section Division 2 championship at Hughes Stadium on the campus of Sacramento City College.
