By Jack Freeman | Special to The OBSERVERThe Grant High School Pacers completed another cardiac comeback drive to take home their third consecutive regional title, beating Saint Francis of Mountain View 32-30 on Friday night.Down 30-29 with 1:29 left in the game, senior quarterback Luke Alexander drove his team nearly 80 yards, bringing the Pacers inside the 5-yard-line. From there and with five seconds left, sophomore kicker Jose Romero made a short field goal to give Grant the Northern California Division 2-AA championship.With the win, the Pacers are headed to their third straight state championship game, where they face Pacifica of Oxnard.Sophomore wide receiver Koby Shabazz catches a pass against the Saint Francis Lancers Dec. 6.
