Gravity Omutujju has responded to the Katikkiro of Buganda, Charles Peter Mayiga, accusing him of unfair treatment and misinformation about his music.
In a recent video, Gravity dismissed allegations that his songs are vulgar, arguing that they are simply artistic expressions.
The controversy comes from the Katikkiro’s directive to Buganda Kingdom’s media platforms, including CBS Radio and BBS Terefayina, to refrain from playing music by Gravity Omutujju and fellow artist Lil Pazo.
According to Mayiga, the music from these artists could distress listeners and does not align with the Kingdom’s standards. He also stated that he would rather avoid being questioned by the Kabaka or the public regarding the type of content aired on these stations.
