As star forward Donavan “Gusto” Phillip transitions into his junior year with North Carolina State University’s Wolfpack, his impressive achievements with the Flint City Bucks in USL League Two keep garnering recognition. Recently, the powerful striker was celebrated as a nominee for the 2025 USL League Two Central Conference Team of the Year and awarded the prestigious Conference Player of the Year title. “Phillip proved nearly unstoppable, netting 12 goals, which earned him a co-Golden Boot accolade,” the announcement highlighted.
