Hawks lose Trae Young for four weeks; Murray says it’s time for the team to step up

Sunday began with the Atlanta Hawks announcing three-time All-Star point guard Trae Young would be sidelined with an injury to his right finger. He’ll have surgery Tuesday at the Hospital for Special Surgery in New York. The team said Young will be evaluated in four weeks. Later that evening, the Hawks beat the Orlando Magic 109-92 at State Farm Arena. Dejounte Murray led all scorers with 25 points. He also had eleven rebounds and nine assists. “You know, I’ll continue to say the same thing over and over: next man up,” says Muray. “Those that work hard for these opportunities, obviously not in that way. He (Trae Young) will be able to heal up and get back as soon as he can and get back to himself. That’s always number one health is everything.
