George Clooney successfully influenced Adam Sandler to shift away from his casual, fratboy attire. The esteemed actors are set to star in the upcoming film "Jay Kelly," directed by Noah Baumbach. Clooney, leveraging his role as a style mentor, remarked, “I’ve been encouraging Adam to wear suits. Don’t you think he looks sharper than in those baggy shorts?” during an interview at the New York Film Festival on September 29. Sandler, now 59, made a notable appearance at the “Jay Kelly” premiere in Venice, abandoning his usual laid-back fashion. This transformation surprised many, as Sandler’s previous style choices had established him as a 1990s fashion icon. While supportive of her husband’s casual wardrobe, his wife, Jacqueline, acknowledged this evolution. Although some fans miss his relaxed look, others praised his dapper new style.
