Hip Hop Dance Workshops on Monday : My Lloydminster Now

Four Hip Hop Dance Workshops are planned for Monday, July 22 at the Centennial Civic Centre as part of the community festivities. With Saskatchewan athletes and supporters in town for the Saskatchewan Summer Games, Stephanie Cowan is the dance instructor who will lead the various age groups: Stephanie was born and raised in Lloydminster and was introduced to Hip Hop in her teens. She has trained across North America and lives in Saskatoon where she is co-owner of Brenda’s School of Baton and Dance. Hip Hop is considered the most accessible dance form for the general public as it does not require special shoes or dance clothing. Organizers welcome parents or guardians to stay and view the one-hour-long workshops. The workshops are free.
