Taymor McIntyre, the rapper known as Tay-K, bowed his head as the jury delivered its verdict in San Antonio on April 14, 2025. Found guilty of murder for the shooting of Mark Anthony Saldivar, McIntyre faces a potential life sentence. Previously serving 55 years for another homicide, defense attorneys criticized the investigation's reliance on questionable eyewitness accounts. While he was acquitted of capital murder, the jury will now proceed to sentencing. McIntyre had gained notoriety from his 2017 hit, "The Race."
