Classic hip hop artists Ja Rule, Fat Joe, Slick Rick and Doug E. Fresh are starring in DJ Cassidy’s latest “Pass the Mic” concert series — and they’ve moved to Las Vegas for the month to perform several dates at the Bakkt Theater at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino. “I’ve always been inspired by old world Vegas…When the opportunity arose to bring ‘Pass the Mic Live!’ to Vegas, I immediately knew I wanted to capture that old work spirit and elegance and sophistication,” Cassidy told Page Six. The crew have been hitting the town “Rat Pack style,” decked out in tuxedos when hitting legendary Vegas spots like Golden Steer Steakhouse, an old Frank Sinatra favorite.
