I Think You’re Wrong (but I’m Listening): Edgehill United Methodist Church hosts event to bridging the gap between right and the left

Nashville, Tenn. (TN Tribune)-On Sunday, September 8, at 9:30 AM, Edgehill United Methodist Church is hosting the authors of the book, I Think You’re Wrong (but I’m Listening): A Guide to Grace-Filled Political Conversations. Sarah Stewart Holland and Beth Silvers are two working moms from opposite ends of the political spectrum who teach us that politics don’t have to divide us. As we approach the November election, politics seem to be driven by anger and bitterness. People sitting together in pews every Sunday feel like strangers, and loved ones at the dinner table feel like enemies. Toxic political dialogue, hate-filled rants on social media, and agenda-driven news stories have become the new norm. But it doesn’t have to be this way. Sarah (from the left) and Beth (from the right) are also co-hosts of Pantsuit Politics, recently named an Apple Podcasts Show of the Year.
