ICAR To Attend Historic United Nations Conference

The Iyanola Council for the Advancement of Rastafari and Pan African People (ICAR)  is set to attend a significant conference hosted by the United Nations Permanent Forum for Persons of African Descent in Bridgetown, Barbados on Thursday  The conference, scheduled to take place at the Hilton Hotel, will focus on the draft United Nations Declaration on the promotion and full respect of the human rights of people of African descent. ICAR said it is honored to have received an invitation to participate in the conference that brings together civil society organisations from across the Caribbean region to engage in critical discussions. “As an organisation, ICAR sees this invitation as a chance to represent not only their mission but also the people of their country, where a large majority of the population is of African descent,” ICAR President Aaron Alexander stated.
