A man from West Virginia is currently incarcerated on felony charges for allegedly issuing racist threats against a law enforcement officer while professing white supremacy. Allen Hillen faces civil rights violation charges stemming from an escalated confrontation involving a deputy from Monongalia County.
Hillen, 53, was apprehended after threatening to kill a Black deputy, using racial slurs, and directing threats toward the officer and a K-9 unit. Deputies responded to Hillen’s residence in Morgantown on July 4, following complaints that he was engaged in a hostile encounter with Deputy R.J. Martin.
The criminal complaint details how Hillen exclusively referred to Martin using derogatory terms and made vulgar remarks regarding the deputy's family. He allegedly asserted his racial superiority as justification for wanting to harm Martin. Hillen remains at the North Central Regional Jail with a bond set at $75,000.
