Applications are now open for “The Creative Leap,” a novel workshop initiative by the Indiana Arts Commission (IAC) aimed at supporting entrepreneurs. Led by Dr. Elaine Grogan Luttrull of Minerva Financial Arts, this series will employ an application-based framework to enhance strategic planning for established creative ventures. The Creative Leap comprises four virtual workshops scheduled from July to August, specifically targeting Indiana-based creative entrepreneurs with five to seven years in business, striving to infuse strategic vigor into their endeavors.“Indiana’s creative entrepreneurs play a vital role in bolstering our economy,” stated Jordan Adams, IAC artistic services manager. The IAC aims to empower artists by providing essential marketing education and networking avenues.The inaugural cohort will accommodate up to 15 creative business proprietors, each receiving a $1,000 honorarium post-workshops for necessary resources.Applications close on June 13, 2025.
