Indiana Mad Ants Tshiebwe aims to impress in Rising Stars game during All-Star Weekend

NBA All-Star Weekend in Indiana is official underway. The Indianapolis Recorder caught up with Indiana Mad Ants forward Oscar Tshiebwe during Panini Rising Stars practice at Gainbridge Fieldhouse. Tshiebwe, who is currently averaging 14.4 points and a league-leading 14 rebounds per contest in the NBA G League. The glass-cleaning phenom of the Mad Ants recalls the moment he received a nod for the Rising Stars contest. “When I found out I was selected for the Rising Stars Game I was like ‘wow,” Tshiebwe said. “I am excited. Tshiebwe recalled a conversation with Mathurin regarding the ‘Pacer vs. Pacer’ matchup during NBA All-Star Weekend in Indianapolis. “He [Mathurin] said he is going to call for an ISO on me during the game,” Mathurin jokingly said about his teammate.
