Henry Ford Delta Sigma Theta (DST) Sorority Incorporated was founded on January 13, 1913 at Howard University in Washington, DC by twenty-two dynamic, forward thinking and social justice minded women that came together as one for the advancement of the African American community. Grounded in unity and focused on a common goal, Delta Sigma Theta Sorority has always remained at the forefront of revolution and change. The Indianapolis Alumnae Chapter stands on the core principles of our illustrious sisterhood and is focused on Sisterhood, Scholarship, Service and Social Action. We continue to uphold the ideal that together our power is undeniable, and our collective impact is unmeasurable. On Saturday, March 16th from 11am -1pm we are hosting our second annual community focused sisterhood prayer brunch at Indy’s Global Village located at 4233 Lafayette Rd. to celebrate, encourage, and facilitate the Power of ONE! This highly anticipated and sold-out event will be a powerful foundation for the women of Delta Sigma Theta, the community, and other sororities to find common space to be One in the Spirit, One in Sisterhood, and One in Service.
