The Indianapolis Public Library’s annual Small Business Series returns Sept. 9.
The annual series of workshops returns for its third year at the Central Library Branch Sept. 9-Oct.1. The series, which is free and open to the public, is designed to help educate and inspire local business owners and entrepreneurs.&
“We are thrilled to bring back the Small Business Series for its third year, with more workshops than ever before,” Kate Lietz, public services librarian at IndyPL, said in a statement. “Whether you’re just starting out with an idea or you’ve been in the game for a while, these sessions will provide valuable insights and practical advice to help you achieve your goals. We aim to support and empower our local business community with the tools and knowledge they need to succeed.”&
The first workshop kicks off Sept. 9 from 3-4 p.m. and covers Data Axle Training presented by Darlene Fox and Andra Roussel from Data Axle Reference Solutions.
The rest take place on Mondays and Tuesdays from 6-7:30 p.m. and aim to cover essential topics related to owning and running a business, including financial statements, law, marketing, certifications and intellectual property, according to a press release.
