Isabella Strahan, the 19-year-old daughter of Michael Strahan, delivered some incredible news on her YouTube series on Thursday. After an emergency surgery in October 2023 to remove a large medulloblastoma—a malignant tumor in her cerebellum—Isabella has revealed that she is now cancer-free. In her recent vlog, titled “Goodbye Hospital,” Isabella returned to Duke Children’s Hospital & Health Center in Durham, N.C., to have her chemotherapy port removed. She talked about the pain she felt the day after the procedure, describing sharp aches in her neck and stomach. “My side hurts a lot. It feels like I got stabbed. I was like, ‘Oh it doesn’t hurt that much.’ I think it’s because all of the stuff wore off… I can’t stand up straight,” she explained. She also noted feeling discomfort that seemed to involve her heart, saying, “I also feel like the tube was going into my heart because my heart started cramping.
