Tomorrow night after the Jazz Jam, celebrate Curves and Edges with Tricia and Shelly as they perform songs that reflect their personalities. This week they invite guests Peter Kascak and Vicky Macdonald Nish to add to the evening of good music. From 7:15 to 9:15 p.m., at the Atrium inside the Rotary Centre for the Arts, 421 Cawston Ave. This is a free event but there will be tip jars on the table to help the artists. Downtown Kelowna has launched their weekly Thursday Night Market as part of the summer community initiative from 4 to 9 p.m. Visitors to the Market will notice a mix of local businesses in attendance, accompanied by artisans, crafters, local food producers, mobile food vendors, and community-based entertainment. I look forward to visiting the market this week and will elaborate at a later date. Creative Chaos is happening this weekend in Vernon. June 7, 8 and 9 is packed with Performing Arts Talent, Specialty Food, Wine and Liquor tastings, and as many as 200 stalls of artisans from across B.C. and Canada for attendees to wander, taste, peruse and purchase.
