Join the Joyous 150-Year Celebration of the Church of the Holy Cross on May 9

The Church of the Holy Cross will commemorate its 150th anniversary on Friday, May 9, at the Edgewood Country Club, located at 100 Churchill Road, starting at 6 p.m. Notable speaker Right Reverend Michael Bruce Curry, the Episcopal Church's first African American presiding Bishop, will address attendees. Retired KDKA-TV reporter Harold Hayes will act as Master of Ceremonies. Holy Cross, founded for Black workers in Pittsburgh, has been pivotal in the Civil Rights Movement and continues to inspire youth through HBCU college tours. For inquiries, contact 412-242-3209.
