Juice WRLD Day 2024: Fans Celebrate His Legacy While Championing Mental Health Awareness

The freezing temperatures couldn’t dampen the anticipation for the fourth annual Juice WRLD Day. Excitement, joy, and high expectations filled the United Center as fans came together to celebrate the life and music of Jarad Higgins, better known as Juice WRLD. Jarad’s mother, Carmela Wallace, took the stage to honor her son’s legacy. With heartfelt words, she reflected on Jarad’s incredible success, his struggles with mental health and substance abuse, and the circumstances that led to his tragic, accidental passing. She reminded everyone of the importance of seeking help, talking to someone in need and honoring Jesus—the faith Jarad deeply cherished. Her powerful message resonated with the audience, leaving them inspired. Wallace’s dedication to preserving her son’s legacy is evident through her leadership of Live Free 999, the nonprofit she founded to support mental health and substance abuse awareness.
