Kera Lawrence, representing Miss K’s Tropical Seamoss, has been named the champion of the 4th annual Miss District High pageant. This competition, designed to enhance opportunities for youth development, emphasizes fostering confidence and nurturing youth advocates. On Saturday, Lawrence captivated both the judges and audience, earning sectional titles for Best in Evening Wear, Best First and Second Interviews, and the Miss Aquamarine accolade for excelling in the underwater segment.
As the new titleholder, she follows 2024 queen Miya Johnson. Lawrence will benefit from a scholarship for her desired course at the University of the West Indies Global Campus and a prize package that includes hotel accommodation, an electronic device from Computer World, a dinner at Spice of India, among other gifts from sponsors. The title also provides access to further training and eligibility for regional pageants in Saint Lucia.
First runner-up Zoey Joseph, Miss Skin Envy, was a crowd favorite, winning multiple awards, while second runner-up Tyraeser Timaitre, Miss DBS, earned the Miss Congeniality title for her friendly demeanor. Organizers are now preparing for Sir Lucia, the male pageant, scheduled for September 19, with the venue to be announced.
