Kimberly L. Jackson, an executive with Alabama Power, has been appointed President and CEO of the Women’s Foundation of Alabama, effective June 16. She succeeds Melanie R. Bridgeforth, who resigned in February. WFA champions women's economic progress through research, policy, and strategic grantmaking. Jackson, with over 20 years of experience and a history of leadership roles, aims to enhance policy and philanthropy for women statewide. Elizabeth Goodrich, WFA Board Chair, supports Jackson’s vision, anticipating substantial statewide impact as the Foundation aims to integrate 10,000 women into the workforce by 2027.
