Kwanzaa celebration highlights Black-owned businesses, centers around unity

After a drumming performance and a song, Kunama Mtendaji, a local cultural artist, called out to an audience of about a dozen people: “Learn to give!” They responded: “A little more!”
This was one of several call and responses centered around uplifting and helping one another in Mtendaji’s educational performance Saturday as part of Columbia’s annual Kwanzaa celebration and Black-Owned Business Expo.
