Straus House, situated at 9 East 71st Street, is a grand seven-story mansion that originally held an asking price of $88 million but ultimately sold for $51 million in 2021.The residence featured unsettling decor, including a bronze bride sculpture suspended above the atrium and a collection of framed prosthetic eyeballs in the entryway. With bizarre additions like a stuffed tiger and a first edition of Nabokov’s “Lolita” in the office, Epstein's home manifested a disturbing aesthetic. Surveillance cameras were found throughout, including bedrooms, alongside revealing images of erotic art within the "massage room."
