According to court documents, Ivy League graduate Luigi Mangione was charged by New York authorities on Monday with killing UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson. The charge was made just hours after Mangione, 26, was charged with a gun and other offenses in a Pennsylvania courtroom. He had been arrested earlier Monday at a McDonald’s in Altoona, Pennsylvania, after a staff member reported him to the police for acting strangely.
