A super PAC named MAGA Kentucky has launched an attack advertisement targeting Republican Representative Thomas Massie, who has been a longstanding adversary of President Donald Trump. This 30-second ad, marking the initial stage of a $1 million promotional effort, commenced airing in late June within Massie’s district as he campaigns for re-election in 2026. Titled “RADICAL DEMOCRATS,” the advertisement questions Massie’s loyalty, citing his votes against Trump’s tax reforms and the completion of Trump’s border wall, as well as his opposition to taxpayer-funded sex changes for minors. These claims reference Massie’s no votes on Trump’s significant legislative initiatives, largely due to concerns regarding national debt implications. Contrary to the ad’s assertions, Massie has voiced support for key aspects of Trump’s policy agenda while advocating for fiscal responsibility. With a substantial war chest of $1.7 million and endorsements from influential figures like Senator Rand Paul and Elon Musk, Massie is preparing for a challenging election ahead.
