Male Escapes Unhurt From Trouya Fire

A male individual escaped unhurt when a fire engulfed a wooden structure at Trouya, Gros Islet. On Sunday at about 6:09 pm, Babonneau and Gros Islet Fire Station personnel responded and found the structure ablaze. According to a Saint Lucia Fire Service (SLFS) release, the occupant of the structure was at home at the time but found his way to safety. However, the fire destroyed the building before the SLFS responders extinguished it. Gros Islet police have launched an investigation into the incident.
