Man Killed in White Rock, Gros-Islet

A 25-year-old man was shot and killed in White Rock, Gros-Islet, in the early hours of Wednesday. The island’s latest homicide victim is Wendal Edward, a resident of the area but originally from Marchand, Castries. According to police reports, officers from the Gros-Islet Police Station responded to a shooting incident in White Rock around 12:05 a.m. Upon arrival, they learned that Edward had sustained multiple gunshot wounds and was transported to the Owen King European Union Hospital via private vehicle.
