Spring Concert Series enlivens grounds and spaces at NCMA Winston-Salem

Performances span Rock, Folk, Funk and Electronic genres  North Carolina Museum of Art, Winston-Salem (formerly SECCA) is proud to present a robust slate of spring concerts, activating the museum’s scenic grounds and unique spaces with unexpected and groundbreaking artists. The spring concert season kicked off on Feb. 15 with the return of the Crossroads concert series in the auditorium featuring Black Opry and culminates in May with an energetic concert at the picturesque Lakeside stage.   Tickets for half a dozen concerts are on sale now at NCMAWinstonSalem.gov, with discounts available for museum members.  “The spring calendar at NCMA Winston-Salem is set to bloom with a rich bouquet of rejuvenating musical experiences,” said music coordinator Kathryn Cranford. “Our concerts are more than entertainment. They’re a component of the museum’s dedication to creating inclusive, revelatory, and educational experiences that enrich North Carolina’s music-lovers and music-makers alike.”  Launched in 2011, the Crossroads concert series explores the hidden backstreets, lost highways, and unexpected intersections of Folk and Americana in the intimate 300-capacity auditorium at NCMA Winston-Salem.
