Man Shot Dead In Dennery

A man succumbed to multiple gunshot injuries in Dennery on Monday night, taking the year’s homicide toll to 27. The incident occurred at Aux Leon. According to initial reports, the deceased, identified as thirty-seven-year-old Asher Nelson,  sustained gunshot injuries in a residence in the community. A medical practitioner at the OKEU Hospital later pronounced him dead. The latest homicide occurred amid continuing police investigations into a fatal shooting in Vieux Fort on Monday morning that claimed the life of Ricardo Wilson, alias ‘Go Fast’. The previous day in Babonneau, at about 10:20 pm, a resident reported the discovery of a body at Paix Bouche with severe lacerations to the face and body. The deceased has so far been identified only as ‘Français’. The police have appealed for information regarding the latest homicides.
