Ex-NFL player Terry Long has emerged in a shocking suicide note linked to the shooter at Manhattan's 345 Park Avenue, Shane Tamura. Tamura bizarrely points the finger at Long, claiming he developed CTE (Chronic Traumatic Encephalopathy) due to his influence. CTE is a severe brain condition prevalent among athletes who have undergone recurrent concussive head trauma, making this accusation particularly striking. After fatally shooting four individuals, 27-year-old Tamura also took his own life, referencing CTE in his note and expressing frustration with the NFL's inadequate response to the malady. The victims have been identified as Blackstone executive Wesley LePatner, NYPD officer Didarul Islam, Cornell graduate Julia Hyman, and security guard Aland Etienne. Notably, Tamura's intended target was the NFL headquarters, although he ended up on the 33rd floor due to mistakenly using the wrong elevator. Long, who succumbed to suicide at 45, had battled similar issues, raising awareness of the serious repercussions of CTE.
