Recently, over 200 students convened at Kelly Ingram Park to reenact this significant chapter. Williams stated, “Today’s reenactment deepened my understanding of the challenges those students faced.” Junior Aniya Tolbert remarked that the event illuminated the timeline of the Children’s March. Participants concluded their experience with a documentary at Boutwell Auditorium, celebrating the city’s rich history and its enduring influence on social change.
