Perry Tole, a 69-year-old man who was reportedly assaulted by Fox anchor Mark Sanchez, has provided an update through a friend to local media outlet Fox 59. Tole was working a late-night shift collecting cooking oil from various establishments when Sanchez allegedly approached him in the early hours of October 4. He took on this job to support his sister-in-law, who endured a traumatic injury during a robbery in 2011, ultimately setting aside his musical aspirations to care for her.Longtime friend Gregg Keesling shared insights with the media, stating, "It takes a good man to do something like that." Keesling elaborated on Tole’s dedication to his family, emphasizing his strong commitment to helping others. He recalled Tole as a talented guitarist from Jamaica, blending rock with reggae influences, dubbing him "Jamaica’s Jimi Hendrix."
