Announced by her school, the 18-year-old University of Texas athlete was poised to shine in the 100m, where she recently established a national junior record. London’s absence is a blow, especially since she previously made history by medaling in the Under-17 100m and 200m events. Alongside her, pole vault champion Naya Jules and three swimmers will represent Saint Lucia.
