NASHVILLE, TENN. — On Sunday, June 8, 2025, District 2 Council Member Kyonzté Toombs alongside District 3 Council Member Jennifer Gamble brought together fellow council members for a noteworthy Metro Council Habitat for Humanity of Greater Nashville Build Day in the Park Preserve neighborhood of North Nashville. A total of eleven council members participated, including Vice Mayor Angie E. Henderson.
The construction commenced early at 7:00 AM at the address of 3022 Aldrich Lane. At 11:30 AM, a significant presentation took place highlighting the Haynes-Trinity Community Collaboration. This initiative encompasses a $2 million renovation project for the Parkwood Community Club ballfields, the neighboring 59-acre Haynes Trinity Metro Park, and the unveiling of two new street names at Village by the Creek, marking an important moment in community enrichment and development.
